Life Updates
Here's a quick post with some updates on what's been going on in my life the past few months.
In no particular order:
I finally got my degree! I legitimately thought it would never happen due to a whole slew of life circumstances, but it did and I am very thankful for that.
I gave my recital. I took a lot of chances and threw myself into it and certainly paid off. I'll probably write an entire post on it at some point, but that I have never felt so in control under pressure as I did that day. I also played my Schelomo transcription which you can read more about here and here.
I moved back to the Phoenix area.
I got a new car. I replaced my Sonic Grey Civic Hatchback with a silver one. Now my friends can harass me over the incoming vanity plate and not the color...
I started posting bass videos on Instagram. Doing this to a) give myself some feasible short term bass goals, b) revisit tackling performance anxiety/crushing perfectionism, and c) get used to putting my playing out there since I have avoided doing so for years. I linked two videos below, but please follow me for more if you aren't already!

I redesigned my website. Let me know if you like it!
I got some new recording gear: an interface, a microphone, and some good monitors. Now I really have no excuse to not record myself...

That's the extent of my major-ish updates. I've been slow at putting them out but I do have several posts I'm excited to share soon. Please remember to subscribe and read some of my other posts, too!
